Crossfire Emotions

Dejected,
I stand,
in the lonesome nights.

Rejected,
I fight,
the battles within.

Diminished,
I draw,
my weapons close.

Silenced,
I bring,
the violence again…

Rains, Downpour, Rain
Come and Go, and I stand,
etched in the memories of time.

Defeated,
I cry,
in silent sobs.

Dismantled,
I fall,
in million pieces.

Diminished,
I speak,
my final words.

Silenced,
I lie,
for once, again…

And She Cried

I didn’t give her a chance, to say what she should.
I didn’t give her a chance, to let her know what she should.
I didn’t give her a chance, to smile.
And then, she cried.

I never let her understand.
I never tried to explain.
I never tried to ease her pain.
And then, she cried.

Sweet dreams, sweet recluse,
frustration, and all refuse,
pour it down, pour it all away,
let it wash your heart,
let it wash your ways.

Though I talk a lot, I’ll seldom say,
I didn’t want to do this, but I was led astray.
Ugly emotions, they scar us all.
Not all are strong to restrain them,
I am not.
Wipe your tears, wipe your ways,
I believe, you’re wasting them at the wrong place.

She looked up, she stared.
Dazed, the solar glare.
Unstrained ignorance, pitiful fate implied,
And then, she cried.
