Blog Statistics Confusion
I need help.. this is what wordpress tells abt my blog:
Blog Stats
Total Views: 923
Best Day Ever: 39
Views today: 0Totals
Posts: 73
Comments: 23
Tags: 55
Just a note: we don’t count your own visits to your blog. All times are in GMT.
And while Sitemeter is also including my visits, and i did include the existing visitor count when i set up sitemeter… it still shows only 719 hits… whts wrong?
which one of these stat reporting is working wrong? Which stats service shud i use? i am running a blog hosted on wordpress.com

why you don’t just try statcounter

I use it for my blog… very good stats also showing surfing details of the useres like resolution, browser, etc.
as well as origin…
unfortunately it will count your own views also but therefore it has an IP counter and counts Unique Visitors as well as Returning Visitors as well as Page Loads…

How does wordpress know that it’s u??
I mean..u can visit the blog through smwhere where the link is posted..say like on ur orkut profile..
or on smone ele’s blogroll..
u are not signed in anywhere n u visit my blog..then on my blogroll u click on ur blog..
how will wordpress know it’s u?
